Men's Chorale
Men's Chorale

Men’s Chorale will present “ad lunam” in the Lee University Chapel on Friday, Nov. 15, at 7:30 p.m., under the direction of Dr. Joshua Cheney. This performance is a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 and the mission to the moon in 1969.

“Ad lunam” will include selections by contemporary composers Andrea Ramsey, Eleanor Daley, and Craig Courtney, as well as selections by historic masters Claudio Monteverdi and Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy.

Men’s Chorale is Lee’s newest choral ensemble and comprises vocal and instrumental music majors and minors as well as non-music majors.

Dr. Cheney is an assistant professor of choral music at Lee. In addition to conducting Men’s Chorale, Cheney directs Choral Union, manages the graduate choral conducting program, and teaches conducting. He is currently a member of the Atlanta-based professional choral ensemble, Coro Vocati.

This event is free, non-ticketed, and open to the public.
