Stevarinos Italian Eatery & Pub, 325 Cherokee Blvd., Suite 100, is the third location of the business and the first in Chattanooga. The family-style Italian restaurant, received a consumer beer license Thursday morning from the City Beer Board.

Taqueria Jalisco currently has two locations, one at Miller Plaza which already has a beer permit and the second on the Southside of Chattanooga.

This second location is moving to 1639 Rossville Ave., across the street from the space that they now occupy, into a new building.

Owners Jorge Parra and Gilberto Parra said they have been in business for 14 years and are now upgrading from a food truck to a full service restaurant with a focus on Mexican food.

Southern Burger, 9453 Bradmore Lane at Cambridge Square, has changed ownership and was given a beer license in the name of the new owner, Michael Robinson.

Kim Hall has worked at The Spot, 1800 East Main, at the corner of Main and Hawthorne, since the business opened. She has just taken over the ownership and was required to get a consumer beer license in her name, which was unanimously approved at the meeting on Thursday.
