Former WRCB News Anchor Bill Markham Passes Away

Bill Markham, a longtime news anchor with WRCB Channel 3, passed away Monday morning from complications of ALS.  He was 76.

His daughter Mindy posted on Facebook, "He’s free. No more #ALS. No more pain. My very favorite person in all the world is now my very favorite #angel."

Mr. Markham was a news anchor on WRCB from 1983-2009.  

He and his wife had moved to Florida to enjoy retirement.  It was there he was diagnosed with ALS, an incurable neuro-degenerative disease. 

Funeral arrangements have not been announced yet.
