Put Money Towards Our Youth Instead Of Remodeling Downtown

  • Monday, May 20, 2019

Our school systems are weakening more and more each year. The school system is always put on the back burner financially. No raise for teachers, no remodels, not even new books for our children.

When budget cuts come from city officials they take from the schools first. How can you get an education when your building is falling apart?

Instead of remodeling downtown Chattanooga the focus should shift toward our youth and educating them. Instead of new iPads and computers give them books with their name so they can take pride in receiving an education.

Too much focus is on money and societal differences instead of the most obvious problem. A lot of children not being given an opportunity to excel due to lack of education.
