Deontae Talley has pleaded guilty to the April 16 slaying of 32-year-old Tymetric Lejuan Graham, 32, on Dodson Avenue.

Talley, 29, pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of voluntary manslaughter.

He was given six years each for that charge and for being a felon in possession of a weapon during the commission of the crime.

Talley would be eligible for early parole consideration on the manslaughter charge, but not on the gun charge.

Police said the incident was caught on police video.

Investigators were able to determine that Graham and Talley were in an altercation prior to the shooting.

Police said the video showed Talley pulling a gun and shooting Graham multiple times.

Talley fled the scene, running south on Dodson and then east on Rawlings Street.

Talley was on probation at the time. He was convicted of aggravated assault in 2009 and has a narcotics conviction from 2017.
