The Salvation Army’s Echelon Chapter Treats Displaced Neighbors To Summer Cookout

  • Friday, July 19, 2019

Members of Echelon, young adults who support The Salvation Army through special projects and fundraising, are organizing a summer cookout for displaced neighbors to take place Sunday at 11:30 a.m., immediately following the 11 a.m. worship service at the 614 Corps on McCallie Ave.

Echelon members will provide food, fun and fellowship for attendees.

“We hope to see many of our local displaced neighbors and friends show up to participate in a few fun yard games, socialize with us, as well as get a great summertime meal!” said Abby Callahan, co-chair of communication for the Chattanooga Echelon chapter.

Those Interested in donating or volunteering for the event are encouraged to email chattechelon@gmail.com or contact Chattanooga Echelon through Facebook @chattechelon.
