Abba’s House Provides Backpacks For Hixson Elementary

  • Monday, August 19, 2019
Members of Abba’s House will deliver backpacks full of school supplies for every student at Hixson Elementary School on Tuesday. The church also delivered backpacks to the students of Clifton Hills Elementary last week.

At Hixson, the students will assemble in the cafeteria at 8:40 a.m. and will be addressed by Lead Pastor Ronnie Phillips, Jr. who will congratulate them on being a REWARD school and earning a Level 5, along with encouraging them on the school year ahead.

“We feel it’s important to give kids the tools they need for a successful year, “ said Pastor Phillips.
“And giving back to our city is a priority for us.”

Abba’s House has partnered with The Nehemiah Project to provide backpacks for Title 1 schools since its inception in 2001. Hundreds of AH members have helped to pack and provide backpacks over the last 19 years.
