The Chattanooga Housing Authority is making its proposed 2020 Annual Agency Plan and its Five-Year Agency Plan available beginning Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the CHA Central Office, 801 North Holtzclaw Ave., as well as on their
website.
The CHA is accepting written comments from the community at large about any facet of the plans. Written comments may be mailed to the Chattanooga Housing Authority Executive Office, 801 North Holtzclaw Ave., Chattanooga, TN 37404, Attn: Annual Plan Comment. Comments may also be emailed to Ed@CHAHousing.org.
Written comments will be accepted through Sept. 20.
Copies of the plans will also be available for review at all CHA development offices, the Office of the Mayor of Chattanooga, the City of Chattanooga Office of Economic & Community Development and the Bicentennial Library.
A public hearing will be held with the CHA’s Board of Commissioners on Sept. 24 at 12:30 p.m. at the CHA’s Central Office, 801 North Holtzclaw Ave. Upon adoption by the CHA Board of Commissioners, the agency plans will serve as a business plan for all facets of CHA operations and policy.
Agency Executive Director Betsy McCright said, “A great deal of effort has been put into making plans that will continue the important work of the Chattanooga Housing Authority. We are confident that strategic direction we’re undertaking is one that will serve our residents and the community over the next five years and look forward to receiving input from the public.”
