Kudos To The Voices

Monday, September 16, 2019

What a great night last Saturday at Lee University in Cleveland. Over a thousand of us were blessed to attend the 25th Anniversary of the choral group "Voices of Lee".

To have singers from all of those years reunite made for a special night. To see the number of singers that have been directed, mentored and encouraged by Danny and Debby Murray is impressive. The gifts given to the Murrays were more than deserved.

In performances all over this country (and don't forget the Sing Off show in NBC) in front of audiences big and small, you Voices of Lee have made us proud. To bring Christ to people through music is a great gift. I, for one, thank you. It was a fabulous evening that I wish we could see again.

Some of their choices were heavily criticized such as Adolph Hitler, but to their credit they stuck to their journalistic integrity as there was no doubt unfortunately he was the most newsworthy of that year. So now this ... (click for more)

School System, Not the Consultant, Own Dysfunctional Facility Public Meetings

When Hamilton County School Board member Jenny Hill was reported to say that she thought the school system needed “to take control” of future public meetings regarding a proposed $1.3 billion facilities plan, it was confusing at best because I thought the school system was already in control of those meetings last week.
