Ruth Kidd
Ruth B. Kidd, 91, a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Effie Brooks; husband, Hubert Kidd; four brothers and one sister.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories her children, Sharon (Ronald) Swafford, Theresa (Napoleon) Custer and Shaun Kidd; she will be sadly missed by nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Public viewing will begin after noon on Monday, Sept. 23, and family visitation from 6–7 p.m. at the funeral home.
The funeral service will be on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 1 p.m. at New Zion Baptist Church. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
