Georgia has many very talented athletes, Herschel Walker, Leonard Floyd, Bill and Chase Elliott, just to name a few, and then there's good ole' JD from Blairsville. Saturday night he once again proved why they call him "Superman".

No power steering, no problem. Just pure down right talent, Johnathan Davenport won the 49th Annual World 100 at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.

The triumph was worth a cool $52,000 and was Davenport’s 17th win of the 2019 season.

Finishing second was Tennessean Jimmy Owens with Ricky Weiss, Stormy Scott, and South Carolina's Chris Madden rounding out the top five.

The victory was Davenport’s third World 100 win of his career. He also picked up the win in 2015 and 2017.

Davenport’s Cornett-powered, Lance Landers-owned Longhorn was sporting a special throwback graphics design for this year’s World 100. His #49 utilized ever popular “Brewster Baker” look that was made famous in the 1982 motion picture "Six Pack" starring Kenny Rogers.
