Stockdale’s Hosts Pet Howl-O-Ween Pet Costume Contest Benefiting Animal Shelters

  • Tuesday, October 13, 2020

Stockdale’s, America’s rural outfitter, is inviting pet owners to bring their costumed pets – dogs, cats, horses, any pet – to take a special Howl-O-Ween photo at any of its six locations. Every pet photographed will receive a mystery goodie bag. Photos will be posted on Facebook where everyone can “Like” their favorite. McKamey Animal Shelter is participating.

Every “Like” received for a photo from a Stockdale’s location will result in an animal shelter in that community receiving one pound of pet food up to a total of 2,000 pounds – one ton – of food per shelter. The more votes, the more food for homeless animals. Votes will be accepted from 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 24, through midnight on Wednesday, Oct. 30. Winners and amount of food donated to area shelters will be announced on Halloween.

Additionally, the owner of the pet photo with the most combined votes will receive a $250 Stockdale’s gift card, and the top vote getter from each location will receive a $50 gift card.

All participating pets will receive a copy of their Howl-O-Ween photo and a goodie bag.
