Darris Rondel Morton
Darris Rondel Morton, age 53, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on October 16, 2020 at his residence.
Formerly of Chattanooga, Tn., Darris was a member Silverdale Baptist Church and loved sharing his faith with others. He loved fishing, hunting, golf and camping.
He was preceded in death by his father, James W. Morton; brother, Daniel W. Morton; and grandparents, R.S. (Martha) McLemore and Carl (Eva) E. Morton.
He is survived by his mother, Harriet Morton; fiancé, Kimberly E. Weldon; siblings, Denise (Michael) Pierce; sister-in-law, Kristy Morton; nieces, Amber (John) Dye, Audra (Daniel) Benson, Ali (Arthel) Clark and Kelsey (Jared) Fox; nephew, Colton Morton; and a host of great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Companion Funeral Home-Athens location, 410 S. White St. on Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 10 a.m.-noon and the service will follow at noon in the chapel with Pastor Collin Cooke officiating. A graveside service will be held at Stock Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Knoxville, Tn.at 3 p.m.
