U.S. Navy Veteran Retired As A Pipefitter And Welder

Kenneth “Ken” E. Reno, 78, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020.

He was the son of the late John and Lillie Mae Reno and was preceded in death by his wife, Judith “Judy” Reno, four sisters and three brothers.

He was veteran of the U.S. Navy and Navy Reserve and was a member of the American Legion. Ken retired as a pipefitter and welder. 

He was a faithful member of Greenwood Baptist Church.

Survivors include his son, Steven “Steve” Reno, of Chattanooga, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 26, in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend Chad Chandler officiating. Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 27, in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5–7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 26, at the funeral home. We respectfully request everyone abide by local COVID mandates of wearing a mask and social distancing during visitation and the funeral services.
