Tires played a major role in the annual Blue/Gray 100 at Cherokee Speedway as Brandon Overton of Evans, Ga. patiently used his Hoosier to come from mid-pack to win his second season finale event of the past three years.

Overton inherited the lead when Saturday's $10,000 winner in Georgia, Chris Madden suffered a flat with only eight laps left in the 100 lapper.

Jonathan Davenport of Blairsville was up front early and challenging, but suffered a flat and wound up finishing 16th.

Jadon Frame of Winchester, whom won Saturday's Deep Fried 75 near his home in Shelbyville finished 19th overall after running towards the front early.

Cochran (Ga.) Motor Speedway host Thanksgiving weekend races Friday night and Saturday night after Turkey Day festivities. Also Tennessee's 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour near Gatlinburg host their annual Leftovers race for the Iron-man series next Saturday.
