Widow Of Pilot Whose Plane Went Down In Chickamauga Lake Thanks Divers

The widow of a pilot whose plane went down in Lake Chickamauga in January 2019 said she wanted to thank divers from the Sheriff's Department who found her husband's body and that of passenger Lynda Marinello.

Mrs. Frank (Janet) Davey appeared before the County Commission on Wednesday along with the two divers who found the plane that was not initially located.

Mrs. Davey has donated several pieces of diving equipment to the sheriff's squad.

Detective Ed Merritt and Lieutenant Eliott Mahaffey were at the commission meeting.
