Betty Jean Posey
Betty Jean Posey, 93, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2020.
She was a member of the former Oak Grove Baptist Church and had worked at Parkridge Hospital in the Dietary Department.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Posey; two sisters, Catherine Marler and Mary Smith; granddaughter, Jill Posey.
Survivors include her son James (Janet) Posey; great-grandson, Charlie Posey; two nieces; several great-nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to Katy Hamby and Corey Bauldwin for their loving care.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 2, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road with the Reverend Ron Perry officiating.
Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday and from 1-2 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
