VW To Give Production Workers Day Off On Monday - For Cleaning And For Workers To Arrange Child Care

The Volkswagen Chattanooga plant will give production workers Monday off to help employees find child care due to the county schools being closed for two weeks.

Employees were notified Friday afternoon.

Offices at the Chattanooga plant will remain open on Monday and the plant will undergo a thorough cleaning.

The factory workers will get paid time off for Monday.

The plant will reopen on Tuesday.
