Ahmya Deshay Calloway was born on March 22, 2003 in Chattanooga, Tn. to Darnima Calloway and Derrick Douglas. On February 25, 2020, Ahmya transitioned to the presence of our Heavenly Father.
 
Ahmya attended Tyner Middle Academy and was in the eighth grade. She was a member of the chorus and she loved to sing.
 
Ahmya was preceded in death her great-grandfather, David Lee Calloway, Sr.
 
Ahmya leaves to cherish her memories her parents, Darnima Calloway and Derrick (Jairee) Douglas; sisters, Keyanna Lindsey, Derrinae Douglas, Lyrica Douglas; brothers, Jamir Lindsey, Xavier Lindsey, Derrion Calloway, Decari Calloway, and Derrick Douglas Jr; grandmothers, Abigail Hammonds and Bridgette Talley; grandfathers, Tyrone Hammonds, Jeffery ( Quanita) Bailey, and Micheal (Johnna) Douglass; her great- grandparents: Annie P. Calloway, Liz Hester, Patricia and Robert Bailey; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
 
Public viewing will begin at noon on Thursday, March 5, with family receiving friends from 6-7 p.m.  
 
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 6, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
