As COVID-19 began to disrupt businesses across America, Chattanooga Ballet moved its classes on-line beginning in mid-March. To provide additional value for not only its students but for dancers across the region, Artistic Director Brian McSween has secured four top professionals from around the country to deliver Master Classes via the Chattanooga Ballet YouTube page the first four Friday’s in April. All classes will stream live from 3:30-4:30 p.m.

“Chattanooga Ballet is excited to provide this opportunity, not only to our own students, but to anyone who would like to tune in,” said Mr.
McSween. “Each of these teachers are artists that I admire, appreciate and enjoy. I know that they will offer wonderful perspective and wisdom as each of them has come from different backgrounds and experiences. I am eager to continue to present world class productions, whether they be live or streamed, and I see this as a way for a little joy to fill the void that fear has left.”
Executive Director John Farrimond said, “Chattanooga Ballet will continue its efforts to bring the art and gift of dance to the community even in this time of social separation. We are grateful for Brian’s leadership and vision in these unique circumstances.”
