Brainerd High Alumni Association Names 2020 Scholarship Recipients

In 2008, the Brainerd High School Alumni Association established a scholarship fund to provide financial assistance to deserving graduating Brainerd High School Seniors.  To date, it has awarded 60 scholarships for a total amount of $60,000.  Below are the 2020 BHSAA Scholarship Recipients:

4. Ahmad Robinson
5. Amarah Robinson

BHS Alums, who would like to make a tax-deductible donation, please make a check payable to the Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga, Inc. and in the memo section of the check place BHS Alumni Association Scholarship Fund and remit to the address below:

The Annual BHS Alumni Weekend that was scheduled to be held June 19-21 is officially cancelled due to COVID-19.  Classes are encouraged to financially support classmates who were impacted by COVID-19 or the tornado during Easter Weekend.

A body found in a wooded area of Signal Mountain on Wednesday has been identified as David Hunter, 27, who was reported missing by his family June 22, Signal Mountain Police Chief Mike Williams said.
