Nooga Bop: Korean Comfort Food is celebrating their Grand Opening on Saturday, Aug. 29 in the Hamilton Place Food Court.

To celebrate the grand opening, Nooga Bop is running an online contest and 300 winners will win free lunch for a year. Details can be found on the company’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/noogabop.

"This trendy new restaurant offers Korean comfort food at an affordable price, with plenty of traditional and innovative recipes to choose from," officials said. "Guests can try french fries topped with bul-go-gi, kimchi and cheese, or enjoy the Yukgaejang, a traditional spicy beef soup with gyoza that will warm your stomach and your heart. The Cup Bop, a bowl of rice, noodles, choice of protein and a choice of toppings, is sure to become a favorite for people looking for healthy food at an affordable price."

“We’ve wanted to share the traditional tastes of Korea with Chattanooga for a long time,” says owner Carlos Kal. “We’re excited to be able to finally share our favorite authentic flavors and recipes with the community.”

Officials said, "The restaurant uses fresh, high-quality products to provide the best meal possible. All beef is 100 percent USDA choice, wet-aged for 30 days to enhance flavor and tenderness. All chicken is 100 percent breast meat and certified antibiotic-free."

The average price for a meal is under $10. Guests can order at the counter for dine-in or carry out, and delivery is available through Dinner Delivered.

Nooga Bop is open every day during mall hours.
