Dade County Has Second Coronavirus Death; Georgia Has 3,660 New Cases

Georgia state health officials reported on Wednesday there have been an additional 109 deaths due to the coronavirus. The new total is 4,456.

There were 3,660 new cases as that total reached 226,153 confirmed cases of coronavirus. 

Hospitalizations are at 21,379 - up 348 since Tuesday. 

Dade County recorded its second death from the virus. 

Here are the numbers by county:

Catoosa County: 677 cases, up 17; 10 deaths; 54 hospitalizations

Chattooga County: 302 cases, up 22; 4 deaths; 15 hospitalizations

Dade County: 136, cases, up 7; 2 deaths, up 1; 9 hospitalizations, up 1

Walker County: 742 cases, up 19; 17 deaths; 39 hospitalizations, up 2

Whitfield County: 3,621 cases, up 43; 32 deaths; 182 hospitalizations, up 3

The cases remain centered around the Atlanta area:

Cobb County: 14,279 cases; 326 deaths

DeKalb County: 14,485 cases; 247 deaths

Fulton County: 21,140 cases; 455 deaths

Gwinnett County: 20,685 cases; 275 deaths
