Weaver And Courtney Share Friday Night Crossville Victories

Young second generation racer Cameron Weaver (# 16) earned a hometown victory Friday night at the Crossville Speedway on the Cumberland Plateau. Weaver, the 22-year-old son of Randy "The Dream" Weaver, beat former UCRA champion and neighbor Jesse Lowe in the night's 25 lap Crate Late Model feature.

In the Late Model feature it was "Kidd-Quik" Kyle Courtney of Knoxville defeating Andy Miller of Dunlap and Robby Mason of Hixson. Local racer Perry Delaney and Anthony Conley rounded out the Top 5.

Saturday the UCRA series is at Fort Payne Motor Speedway in Alabama just Southwest of Chattanooga down I-59. The annual "Fort Payne 40" starts at 7 p.m. CST.

Both I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater and Mountain View Raceway in Dayton/Spring City are also in action Saturday, beginning at 7 p.m.
