Wascheski, Stanley (Cleveland)

Stanley Wascheski, 95, of Cleveland, departed this life on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at his residence. Born on Sept. 27, 1924 in Minnesota to the late Peter and Julia Lendowski Wascheski, he lived a majority of his life in Bradley County, and was retired from American Uniform, after over 30 years of service. His church was his life, as Stanley was a founding member of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, where he attended daily mass and was a fourth-degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

In addition to his parents, Stanley was preceded in death by eleven siblings, Frances, Mary, Gertie, Dominic, Roman, Isador, Joe and James Walcheski, and Helen Aulich.

He is survived by his sister, Rose Mcziachek, of Minnesota, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and church family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28 at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, with Father Michael Nolan officiating.

There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home or prior to the service at the church.

In lieu o flowers, the family suggests memorials in Stanley’s name be made to St.Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church.
