Hamilton County Has No New COVID Deaths And 32 More Cases; Tennessee Has 15 New Deaths

The number of new COVID-19 cases in Hamilton County on Monday is 32. The new total is 9,273.  There have been no more deaths, said the county Health Department, for a total of 91.

Hamilton County has had 7,754 people recover from the virus (84 percent) and there are 1,428 active cases. 

There are 52 people hospitalized in the county from coronavirus, and one suspected case. Of those, 23 are Hamilton County residents. Twelve are in intensive care. 

Tennessee had 15 more coronavirus deaths bringing the total to 2,233, state Health Department officials said. 

There were 895 new cases in the state for a total of 184,409.

The state currently has 693 people hospitalized from the virus, 51 less than on Sunday. 

There have been 166,674 people who have recovered from the virus in Tennessee (90 percent).

Testing numbers are above 2.673 million across the state.

Davidson County: 26,017 cases, up 45; 293 deaths, up 4

Knox County: 8,998 cases, up 75; 72 deaths

Bledsoe County:  845 cases, down 1; 4 deaths

Bradley County: 2,858 cases, up 8; 16 deaths

Grundy County: 249 cases, up 3; 5 deaths

Marion County: 500 cases, up 1; 7 deaths

Meigs County: 221 cases, up 1; 3 deaths

Polk County: 378 cases, up 1; 11 deaths

Rhea County: 781 cases, up 9; 11 deaths

Sequatchie County: 223 cases, up 1; 3 deaths
