MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Dalton State (Ga.) swept the SSAC Men's & Women's Soccer Player of the Week awards, with Justin Riescher being named SSAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Aaron Fraire being named SSAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, while Emily Darnell was named SSAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Mattie Dollar being named SSAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week the conference office announced Monday.
MEN
Justin Riescher (Dalton State – JR – MID – Coral Springs, Fla.)
- Riescher notched both goals in a 2-0 non-conference victory over SSAC foe Middle Georgia State
- His first goal came on a header, and the second came when he beat a pair of defenders with a side step
Aaron Fraire (Dalton State – SO – GK – Dalton, Ga.)
- This is his second-career honor
- Fraire recorded a shutout in a 2-0 win versus the Knights
- He made one stop, while playing all 90 minutes

WOMEN
Emily Darnell (Dalton State – FR – MID – Newnan, Ga.)
- This is her first-career honor
- The freshman scored a pair of goals in a 2-1 non-conference win over Middle Georgia State
- Both goals came in the first 11:57 to take control of the game
Mattie Dollar (Dalton State – SO – GK – White Pine, Tenn.)
- This is her second-career honor
- Dollar made four saves and allowed only one goal in 90 minutes of action in a 2-1 victory
