Hamilton County Has 2 New COVID Deaths, 190 New Cases; Tennessee Has 7,419 New Cases, 81 More COVID Deaths

Hamilton County reported 190 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday.

The new total of cases in Hamilton County is 33,829.

There were two more deaths from the virus in the county reported on Sunday, bringing the total to 302.

The number of coronavirus cases in Tennessee is at 653,869 on Sunday with 7,419 new cases. There have been 81 more deaths from the virus, for a total of 7,785, state Health Department officials said.

The state currently has 3,085 people hospitalized from the virus, 137 less than on Saturday.

Testing numbers are above 5.858 million across the state. 

The number of people who have recovered from coronavirus in Tennessee is 565,197, 86 percent.

Bradley County:  10,017 cases, up 7; 86 deaths, up 4

Grundy County: 1,348 cases, up 8; 20 deaths

Marion County: 2,120 cases, up 28; 27 deaths, up 1

Meigs County: 1,070 cases, up 15; 16 deaths

Polk County: 1,338 cases, up 29; 17 deaths

Rhea County: 3,627 cases, up 55; 53 deaths

Sequatchie County: 1,308 cases, up 19; 18 deaths

Knox 36,717 cases, up 411; 357 deaths, up 5

Davidson 67,645 cases, up 744; 626 deaths, up 6

Shelby 72,840 cases, up 657; 1,029 deaths, up 13
