Georgia Has 17 New Coronavirus Deaths; 6,360 New Cases

Georgia state health officials reported on Monday there have been 17 additional deaths due to the coronavirus. The current total is 10,299.

There were 6,360 new cases, as that total reached 642,712 confirmed cases of coronavirus. 

Hospitalizations are at 44,742, up 107 from Sunday. 

Here are the numbers by county:

Catoosa County: 3,751 cases, up 37; 40 deaths, up 1; 165 hospitalizations

Chattooga County: 1,728 cases, up 26; 46 deaths; 122 hospitalizations

Dade County: 827 cases, up 9; 7 deaths; 40 hospitalizations

Walker County: 4,339 cases, up 76; 56 deaths; 181 hospitalizations

Whitfield County: 11,973 cases, up 104; 132 deaths; 569 hospitalizations, up 2
