Georgia Has 149 New Coronavirus Deaths; 5,772 New Cases

Georgia state health officials reported on Wednesday there have been 149 additional deaths due to the coronavirus. The current total is 11,411.

There were 5,772 new cases, as that total reached 695,400 confirmed cases of coronavirus. 

Hospitalizations are at 47,311, 305 more than Tuesday. 

Here are the numbers by county:

Catoosa County: 4,125 cases, up 43; 45 deaths, up 1; 172 hospitalizations

Chattooga County: 1,850 cases, up 15; 49 deaths, up 2; 127 hospitalizations

Dade County: 891 cases, up 3; 8 deaths; 42 hospitalizations

Walker County: 4,728 cases, up 30; 60 deaths, up 1; 194 hospitalizations, up 1

Whitfield County: 12,775 cases, up 68; 156 deaths; 612 hospitalizations, up 3
