Former two-time NASCAR champ Tony Stewart's All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Car Series invaded South Georgia's Screven Motor Speedway this weekend bringing Winged Outlaws to the state for the first time in 2021 for a pair of events.

Over 30,410 powered race teams entered and in the end North Dakota's Donny Schatz (#15) and Texan Aaron Reutzel (#83) took the respective checkers at the 1/3 mile red clay dirt track east of Macon.

Screven hosts multiple events during Speedweeks leading up to the running of the Daytona 500. Next weekend another pair of events take place for Super Late Models as the Southern All-Stars and the Ultimate series share the ultra fast track. Floracing.com will broadcast the events live on the Internet for subscribers of the website.

In Tampa another Texan, Tyler Erb (#1) got the Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model series Winternationals finale at East Bay Raceway Park. Erb held off Blairsville's Jonathan Davenport for the $15,000 payday, one night after being disqualified for unsportsmanlike conduct after a heat race. Erb has won four races so far in 2021 and even led the the series points at one time during the week-long mini series in the sunshine state.

Behind JD was Brandon Shepard (IL), early race leader Tim McCreadie (NY) and Hudson O'Neil (IN) Monday's winner driving Maryville's Roger Sellars-owned team.

The LODLM series takes Sunday off before returning to action Monday and Tuesday at Ocala's Bubba Raceway Park for a pair of $10,000 features. MavTV Plus and Lucas Oil Racing TV apps are broadcasting the races live on the Internet and free on the Facebook social media site both nights starting at 7 p.m. EST. Unofficially Georgian Brandon Overton leads the LODLM points exiting Tampa's week-long endeavor.

Crossville's Randy Weaver won the Cabin Fever race Saturday in Chattanooga.
