Hamilton County Collegiate High School at Chattanooga State Community College has been named one of 32 Level 5 Schools on the Tennessee Value-Added Assessment System report for 2020-21. TVAAS measures the impact schools and teachers have on their academic programs relative to other students across the state. 

The Collegiate High program, formerly known as Middle College High School, premiered on the Chattanooga State campus in 2001. Collegiate High offers students the opportunity to earn a high school diploma and an associate degree at the same time while serving as a “launching pad” for students in grades 9-12 to be “ahead of the game” and expedite their education. 

Nationally, Collegiate High students are some of the most sought-after students. Its graduates continue their education in colleges and universities across the nation. The majority of Collegiate High graduates’ transfer to a four-year college or university. Additionally, its ACT composite continues to rank above the state and national average.
