Moc Wrestlers Host Blue-Gold Match Saturday At First Horizon Pavilion

Wrestling season has arrived. Chattanooga’s wrestling program will lay down the mats inside the First Horizon Pavilion on Saturday at 10 a.m.  

The Blue-Gold Scrimmage will feature 11 matches separated by the Moc Walk prior to the homecoming football game vs. Furman.   

Thomas Sell and Carial Tarter will be the first matchup of the day with the winner facing Matthew Waddell in the finale. Fans will get to see multiple first time Chattanooga wrestlers and many returners.

“Due to the shortened year last season, not all of our guys were able to get on the mat,” said head coach Kyle Ruschell. “This is going to be a great opportunity for our alumni and our fans to see some of our new guys and watch the returners as well.” 

The 2021-22 Chattanooga Wrestling regular season gets underway with Cumberland on Saturday, Nov. 6. at 5 p.m. To purchase season tickets, click here.
