Georgia Has 57 More COVID Deaths, 2,945 New Cases

Georgia state health officials reported on Monday there have been 57 additional deaths due to the coronavirus. The current total is 25,704.

There are 2,945 new cases on Monday, as that total reaches 1,284,354 confirmed cases of coronavirus. 

Hospitalizations are at 89,234, which is an increase of 298 since last reported on Wednesday. 

Here are the numbers by county, last updated Wednesday:

Catoosa County: 8,581 cases, up 19; 96 deaths, up 2; 31 hospitalizations, up 5

Chattooga County: 3,727 cases, up 8; 90 deaths; 257 hospitalizations

Dade County: 1,847 cases, up 3; 18 deaths, up 1; 70 hospitalizations, up 2

Walker County: 9,792 cases, up 37; 123 deaths, up 2; 372 hospitalizations, up 4

Whitfield County: 19,438, up 34; 323 deaths, up 2; 954 hospitalizations, up 2
