Lee Soccer Staff Named United Coaches South Region Staff Of The Year

After an undefeated 19-0-1 season and a No. 2 national ranking the Lee women's soccer staff has earned the United Soccer Coaches South Region Staff of the Year honor the organization announced this week.

Head coach Chris Hennessey his seventh season and boasts an impressive record of 102-27-11. Hennessey captured his 100th career victory with a 4-0 shutout of Christian Brothers on Nov. 7.

The Lady Flames rolled through the regular season and the Gulf South Conference, going 19-0 and capturing the program's second GSC Tournament Championship in program history.
Lee's historic season was cut short in the Second Round of the NCAA Championship, losing in penalty kicks to Florida Tech.

Hennessey and his assistants, Luidgi Beauzille, Haley Gribler and Christian Dumont will now be placed onto the National Staff of the Year ballot. The voting for National SOY in your division will begin the afternoon of December 8, 2021.
