Georgia Has 27 More Deaths From COVID And 867 New Cases

Georgia state health officials reported on Friday there have been 27 additional deaths due to the coronavirus. The current total is 25,791.

There are 867 new cases on Friday, as that total reaches 1,288,387 confirmed cases of coronavirus. 

Hospitalizations are at 89,822, which is an increase of 105 since Thursday. 

Here are the numbers by county:

Catoosa County: 8,609 cases, up 5; 98 deaths, up 1; 319 hospitalizations, up 3

Chattooga County: 3,739 cases, up 3; 91 deaths; 258 hospitalizations

Dade County: 1,860 cases, up 2; 18 deaths; 71 hospitalizations, up 1

Walker County: 9,844 cases, up 20; 125 deaths, up 2; 375 hospitalizations, up 3

Whitfield County: 19,503, up 13; 325 deaths; 958 hospitalizations, up 3
