The Chattanooga Lookouts released on Thursday the team’s 2021 regular season schedule. The Lookouts’ 120 game season kicks off at home on Tuesday, May 4, against the Rocket City Trash Pandas. It will be the first time in over 20 months that the Lookouts will be able to invite fans back to AT&T Field.
“We have been waiting for this day since our 2019 season ended and we are thrilled to be able to have our fans back at AT&T Field,” said Lookouts President Rich Mozingo. “Our staff is already hard at work ensuring AT&T Field will be a fun and safe environment to watch baseball.”
After the opening 6-game homestand the team heads on the road for 12 games in 14 days and returns home for a stretch over Memorial Day weekend. The team concludes their 60-game home schedule on Sept. 19.
“This is an exciting time for the city of Chattanooga and our fans,” Mr. Mozingo said. “It is wonderful to be able to finally welcome back Lookouts baseball.”
The new structure of Minor League Baseball will have Chattanooga remaining in a league with seven other members of the Southern League. Joining Chattanooga in the North Division will be the Birmingham Barons, Rocket City Trash Pandas and the Tennessee Smokies. The South Division will be made up of the Biloxi Shuckers, Mississippi Braves, Montgomery Biscuits and the Pensacola Blue Wahoos.
