West Tennessean Mike Marlar, known throughout the dirt late model racing world as "The Winfield Warrior", a two-time Knoxville (IA) Nationals champion and 2018 World of Outlaws Late Model Series Champion, is once again slated to join the Motorsports Business Management racing team for NASCAR's return to dirt, Sunday, March 28, at the Bristol Motor Speedway for the Cup series event.

Marlar and MBM have history together as the 43-year-old, 20+ year racing veteran has fielded Xfinity Series and Truck Series rides in the past at specific special NASCAR sanctioned events.

Marlar is also been tapped to drive the MBM Truck Saturday, March 27, of which the last time driven was at Tony Stewart's Eldora Speedway in Ohio.

MBM will field the #66 for Marlar, with sponsorship from liftkits4less.com in the Cup race Sunday and a #56 Truck Saturday.

Marlar thanked team owner Carl Long, whom stated he's excited to see what the dirt champion can accomplish in the sports top tier.

Marlar will also be competing for in excess of $100,000 in the coming weeks at BMS in his Super Late Model before the track removes the clay and returns to its normal concrete surface for the annual August events.
