She accepted Christ at an early age in the Baptist Church where she served on several church ministries. Later in life she connected with Pneuma Christian Center, where her faith in God and his word grew. She had a vibrant infectious faith and she lived to share the Gospel with others.

Linda chose a career in the medical profession and she worked for 40 years with the Erlanger Health System where she retired.

Linda will be greatly missed by her only child, Kevin L Ball, Sr. of Nashville; grandchildren, Kevin (Sia) of Antioch, Tn., Tiffany,  of Murfreesboro, Tn.; great grandchildren, Jada, Greyson, Lorde and soon to come, Denver; sisters, Mary “Bootsie”  Thomas, Rose Mary Porter; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. A special thanks to dear friends, Sister Pat Terry and Mary Griffin for being there when she needed them most.

Our hearts are full of pain and joy for the many years we shared together. But we know there is life beyond the grave and now His will be even better.

A public viewing will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 21, at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at noon on Thursday, April 22, in the chapel of John P. Franklin Funeral Home. Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
