Linda Dotson
Linda Fifer Dotson, 74, was the fourth of six children born to the late Charlie Lee and Margaret (Scott) Fifer. She transcended into celestial peace on Tuesday, April 13.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Gloria Diane Fifer and Robbie Jean Donehue; three brothers, Albert “Chuckie” Fifer, Norman Harvey and Charles Fifer; and sister-in-law, Evella Fifer.
Linda grew up in Chattanooga, and she attended Chattanooga Public Schools. She graduated from Howard High School, class of 1966. She accepted Christ at an early age in the Baptist Church where she served on several church ministries. Later in life she connected with Pneuma Christian Center, where her faith in God and his word grew. She had a vibrant infectious faith and she lived to share the Gospel with others.
Linda chose a career in the medical profession and she worked for 40 years with the Erlanger Health System where she retired.
Linda will be greatly missed by her only child, Kevin L Ball, Sr. of Nashville; grandchildren, Kevin (Sia) of Antioch, Tn., Tiffany, of Murfreesboro, Tn.; great grandchildren, Jada, Greyson, Lorde and soon to come, Denver; sisters, Mary “Bootsie” Thomas, Rose Mary Porter; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. A special thanks to dear friends, Sister Pat Terry and Mary Griffin for being there when she needed them most.
Our hearts are full of pain and joy for the many years we shared together. But we know there is life beyond the grave and now His will be even better.
