CPD And HCSO Host 2021 Law Enforcement Memorial Service

  • Monday, May 10, 2021

The Chattanooga Police Department and Hamilton County Sheriff's Office are hosting the 2021 Law Enforcement Memorial service and announcing the Law Enforcement United teams on Wednesday at 5 p.m. at the Law Enforcement Memorial at 602 Market St.

This commemoration honors the law enforcement officers from Chattanooga, Hamilton County and surrounding areas who have lost their lives in the line of duty and their survivors. Again, as in 2020, this will be an abbreviated service.

There will be approximately 50 cyclists, escorts and support personnel in attendance from jurisdictions throughout Tennessee. The LEU teams culminate their 270-mile cycling tour in Chattanooga. This is the last memorial stop before the tour's end point in Coolidge Park.

One lane of Market Street will be blocked for LEU cyclists and other attendees.
