Football Mocs Start Camp Wednesday

The day is finally almost here. A large number of the Chattanooga Mocs football team has been in summer school working on strength and conditioning along with skills work. The remainder of the squad comes to campus Tuesday with fall camps starting Wednesday morning.

“Really proud of the work our guys did throughout the summer,” Coach Rusty Wright shared. “Our bodies were noticeably different so props to Coach Gerry Pacitti in the weight room.

“We’re excited to start fall camp this week and see how we can continue to grow and get better as a team.”

The Mocs return from a shortened 3-2 season in the fall (0-1) and spring (3-1). As you can see below, there is a large contingent back for the program.

The Mocs are readying for the 2021 fall campaign. Home games await hosting Austin Peay, Western Carolina, ETSU, Furman and The Citadel. It opens on Thursday, Sept. 2, with a visit from the Governors. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
