Dr. Jason Rehm has been appointed vice chair of the Department of Plastic Surgery with the University of Tennessee College of Medicine/Health Science Center in Chattanooga.
The University of Tennessee College of Medicine and Health Science Center is a medical education science institute providing education for medical students, residents and fellows. Dr. Rehm teaches and engages in scholarly activity and clinical research to provide healthcare for area patients and trains physicians who are pursuing residency and fellowship training following graduation from medical school.
UTHSC is a statewide system with campuses in Memphis, Nashville, Knoxville and Chattanooga.
Dr Rehm’s specialty is plastic and hand surgery. He has special areas of interest and expertise in hand surgery, general plastic and reconstructive surgery, microvascular, maxillofacial trauma and aesthetic surgery.
He is a graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Tx. He completed general surgery training at the University of Nebraska in Omaha, and plastic and reconstructive surgery training at UTCOM in Chattanooga. After completing plastic surgery residency, he completed a fellowship in hand/microvascular surgery at the University of Mississippi in Jackson.
Dr. Rehm joined RefinedLooks Plastic Surgery and Hayes Hand Center in August 2004. He is board certified with the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is an active member of the local Chattanooga Hamilton County Medical Society, as well as numerous societies, including the American Society of Plastic Surgery.
