Georgia Has 126 More Coronavirus Deaths, 6,771 New Cases

Georgia state health officials reported on Wednesday there have been 126 additional deaths due to the coronavirus. The current total is 19,806.

There are 6,771 new cases as that total reaches 1,097,709 confirmed cases of coronavirus.

Hospitalizations are at 73,534, which is an increase of 267 from Tuesday.

Here are the numbers by county:

Catoosa County: 7,038 cases, up 34; 71 deaths; 282 hospitalizations

Chattooga County: 2,862 cases, up 33; 68 deaths; 202 hospitalizations, up 1

Dade County: 1,563 cases, up 9; 14 deaths; 65 hospitalizations

Walker County: 8,059 cases, up 47; 84 deaths; 315 hospitalizations

Whitfield County: 17,178 cases, up 72; 247 deaths, up 1; 842 hospitalizations, up 1
