Ollie Mae Radford
Ollie Mae Radford, 90, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in a Chattanooga hospital.
Mrs. Radford was born in Robbinsville, N.C. and she was the daughter of the late Effie Icenhower Crisp and Wade Crisp. Her husband, Marshall Earl Radford Sr., a brother and three sisters also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Radford was retired from Dr. Scholls/Shering Plough with more than 20 years of service. She enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable gardens and going to specialty shops including antique shops. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her family. Mrs. Radford was very proud of her Cherokee Indian Heritage and she was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include her daughter, Margaret Long of Cleveland; sons, Marshall E. Radford Jr., Cleveland, and Marvin Radford (Denise), Marion, North Carolina; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Irene Overholt (Bob), Maryville, Tennessee; brother, Claude Crisp, Maryville, Tennessee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Remembrance of Life Graveside Service and Interment will be conducted on Saturday, Sept. 25, at 1:30 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Larry Icenhower officiating. Family and friends will serve as casket bearers.
The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. Saturday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
