Silverdale Slaps Collegedale Behind Wright's 29 Points

Lady Seahawks Prevail Over Lady Eagles; Kugler Scores 22

Silverdale turned a four point halftime lead into a 17 point win over Collegedale Academy Monday night, 70-53, on the road. Brett Wright scored 29 points, including three three-pointers, for the Seahawks, 17 coming in the final two quarters.

Kennedy Okpara scored 14 for Silverdale, while Caiden Botts added 11.

Collegedale had three players in double figures, with George Shrade leading the way with 15. Teammates Jonah Madigral and Grant Gibson had 14 and 12, respectively. Gibson nailed four from beyond the arc and Madigral had three treys.

Silverdale girls 55, Collegedale 36: Lauren Kugler had the hot hand for the Lady Seahawks in their 55-36 win over the Lady Eagles. Kugler scored 22 points, including four baskets from long-range. Tori Gibson added 10 for Silverdale, now 10-7 on the season with a 1-2 record in district play.
