Shelton Errol Goldblatt passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. He was 69 years old.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Genevieve Goldblatt; his beloved wife, Susan; his brother, Jay; his aunt and uncle, Buster and Clarice Edelstein; and his aunt, Rozzie Edelstein.

He is survived by his sons, Ethan and Taylor; and sister, Debra.

Shelton had a heart of gold. He gave so much of himself to take care of his son Ethan, and to ensure that the end of life rights for those in the Jewish community, no matter which synagogue they belonged to or did not belong to, were done honorably. On the day of a funeral, he was always the first person at the cemetery and the last to leave.

Shelton’s funeral will take place graveside at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 21, at the B'nai Zion Cemetery, 605 Lullwater Road, Chattanooga Tennessee. Rabbi Sam Rotenberg will officiate.
