The Smell Of Desperation

  • Saturday, January 8, 2022

It’s been a while since I’ve seen desperation in local politics but this particular issue has that distinct and foul smell of sheer desperation and low down tactics.

When faced with real issues and poor performance it seems that certain politicians can only resort to finger pointing and underhanded tactics to detract from their inadequacies and ineptitude.

When the only option seemingly available is to call for an “investigation” against one’s only opponent it reeks of desperation.

The only candidate who is actually talking about facts in the upcoming Hamilton Country district attorney’s race is Ms. Coty Wamp. I have listened to her talk about her plans and how to better prosecute cases and I stand squarely in her corner. She is the only real option for fixing a drunken ship that drifted off course some years ago.

Don’t just take my word for it though, do some research for yourself. Look at the pleadings in the Hamilton County Criminal Court versus the actual charges levied. Maybe the current office holder should explain the lack of prosecution for violent crimes.

There simply isn’t a qualified excuse for the lack of trials, the low pleadings and betrayals of victims.

Ultimately the voters will get the opportunity to pass judgment on the job not being done by the current office holder.

Ms. Coty Wamp you have my support and respect.

My opinion is just that, it does not reflect the opinion of any agency or political group.
