Chattanooga’s Newest Con Comes To The Scenic City

Chattanooga Comic Con, Chattanooga's newest comic and pop culture convention, is coming to the Scenic City Oct. 22-23 at the Chattanooga Convention Center.

Comics, animation, gaming, anime, vendors and cosplay are all on display at this family-friendly two-day event.

C3’s mission is to welcome all fans from all genres together with great artists and creators, celebrity guests and outstanding vendors. Organizers said they are setting out to create unique and memorable experiences for fans, and Chattanooga is the perfect place to do it.

C3 will bring fans meet and greets with celebrity talent and comic industry professionals, interactive panels and experiences, cosplay events, and dedicated tabletop and console gaming rooms.

During the inaugural year, the Chattanooga Comic Con team will be presenting featured guests Khary Payton, Ross Marquand, Jim Cummings, Grey DeLisle Griffin, anime voice actors Tyler Walker, Lindsay Seidel, and Aaron Roberts, and tons of creators including Eisner award-winning artists Jae Lee and Janet Lee. Musical guests The Harp Twins will perform two shows, and local pros BattleKat Combat, Ensemble Theatre of Chattanooga, and Wigley FX will demonstrate their industry skills with interactive one-of-a-kind panels.

Tabletop play, Star Wars Legion Tournament, Board Game Library, and Super Smash Bros Tournament will all be available to register and/or participate.

Tickets start at $20 and can be purchased in advance at chattanoogacomiccon.com. Kids 12
