Lee University’s Women’s Rugby Team will compete in the National Collegiate Rugby Final Four in Houston, Texas, on Saturday.

After beating East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania 36-17 in the regional tournament, Lee’s team solidified its place in the Final Four. For the Dec. 3 Final Four match, the team will play The College of St. Scholastica. If they win, they will advance to the Small College National Championship on Sunday.

“I am incredibly proud to be a captain of this team,” says Siena Macy, team captain and graduating senior. “We have fought through adversity and have proved why we deserve our spot in the Final Four, and I am so excited to return to this tournament for the third time, my final time, and hopefully compete for the championship title!”

This is the team’s fifth time advancing to the Final Four, and so far, their record for this season is 8-0.
