Longtime Industrial Electrician Loved To Fish And Hike

Timothy "Tim" James Weeks, 47, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022.

Tim was born to Rex and Earlene Weeks on December 25, 1974. He went to school at Soddy Daisy High and Sequoyah Vocational School. He graduated from Chattanooga State Community College with a technical degree in Industrial Electricity. He worked as an industrial electrician at Vincent Printing and then DuPont for many years. He loved his family, friends, animals, nature, history, and art. He had a passion for local history and the great outdoors. If it was a nice day, Tim was either fishing on the river or hiking in the mountains. Tim had a caring spirit and was always helping others.

Tim is preceded in death by grandparents, Emitt & Annie Belle Gold, and Elmer & Thelma Weeks, and his aunts, Faye Purser and Freda Weeks.

Tim is survived by his son, Dakota (and Lacey) Weeks, stepson, Shane (and Saige) Arrowood, brother, William Weeks, sister, Angel (and Brandon) Hartsock, parents, Rex & Earlene Weeks, grandchildren, Tucker Weeks, Emma Arrowood, Billy Mills, Skylar Housley, and two additional grandchildren due spring 2023 (Charlie and Karson), nephew, Callen Haug, niece, Kyla Haug, and many other bonus nephews and nieces that considered Tim their uncle.

A private family memorial will be held at a later time.
